I really like the suitcase - it seems to be true to what's advertised. It's been flawless on two different overnight trips. My challenge is with their customer service. My luggage arrived with the box completely cut open and the battery for the charging functionality had been removed. I have now contacted customer service three times since then over 4 weeks and have gotten absolutely no response from them. The last message I sent them I asked if I needed to submit a review to get them to take some action, so here we are.
Dan M.
Well, I was super excited about receiving this carry-on bag - unfortunately, I recieved it incomplete. The box was on my front porch completely opened, every piece of tape on the box was cut and the battery pack was removed from the box. Clearly this was a big selling point given the functionality of the suitcase. I had put a ticket into the warranty program the day it was received and now it has been 2 months or so since any communication and no acknowledgement of the issue or any attempt at resolution. I would look for a brand that is more focused on customer satisfaction than sales if I were to do it all againl.

Bought this originally through crowd funding. I like the open in front feature and the wheels and design.
Flaws: it’s heavy. By itself it weighs 3-4 pounds more than the average carry on.
It doesn’t fit much. If you try to fit two days worth of clothes and a laptop, the front won’t close. It’s cute but I can’t use it anymore on overnight trips for that reason. International flights maybe?
It doesn’t charge things well. The phone dock can’t fit iPhone max. It’s too small. The Bluetooth function doesn’t work well. It disconnects a lot.
In their efforts to make it “smart” - it isn’t very efficient.

This bag is an excellent companion on any trip and I would recommend it to most people. Like all bags it has it’s good and bad features. First the good… the bag moves very well throughout the airport and on outside terrain. The quick access front pocket is very convenient and it feels like every time I use it someone asks me a question about this bag. The zippers are premium so you don’t have to worry about them just breaking on you. The bag also gives you the ability to add a power bank so that you can charge without going into your bag. Wireless, usb an and usb c are available for charging on this bag. It says in the site it was included but mine did not come with one. Lastly the electronic locking. Being able to lock the bag electronically instead of using a combo is a great upgrade for security in my opinion. If someone gets your bag and has time with it they will eventually get your code if you had a combo lock. Now the bad… The wireless charger while a cool feature is always on even when not in use.. This means that it drains your power bank. So you don’t have the ability to just leave it in there for extended periods of time. Personally I think most people would rather this be a cup holder instead of a wireless charger. Most people bring their cables on planes so the bag gives you that option already through USB. The cup holder would be way more useful and practice item since we all at some point have a drink we walk around with. Second the app needs a little work. If you leave the bag on regardless of how far you are from the bag it will disconnect from Bluetooth and you don’t have the ability to lock it or unlock it. You have to turn the bag on and off to get it to reconnect to you. Also if you forget to lock the bag and you check it you cannot lock the bag once it’s out of range. The last thing about the app is the tracking portion of it. While I understand the company may want to promote their own tracking technology or partner this is not built into the bag. You have to buy a tag separate of the bag. When you want to track you have to go to another app to do so. There should be an option for utilizing apple air tags or Samsung tags cause the majority of people already have these. The lack of integration makes this feature unusable to me. I think for security purposes building it into the bag also means someone cannot remove it. The price of these tags being promoted are more expensive than the commonly used tags and really don’t even have the luxury of integration since they are third party so it makes no sense to me. The final thing is the size. This bag is just a touch too small in may opinion. Some people may like this but for those thinking they could pack light, light is really light with this bag. It needs to be just a little deeper. Especially if you plan on putting your tech and quick access items in the front. It will be limited by how much you put in the back. Overall this is a great bag for most people.

Absolutely the best carry on luggage I've ever had by far!!
Also the owner personally emailed me when I had an issue with the lock and much to my surprise he shipped me a brand new one for free!!
I highly recommend this company both for quality and support!!
Moises B.
It doesn't fit much, the front pocket is very bulky, and it takes a lot of space. It is heavy. and the Bluetooth constantly disconnects and you get a constant chirping sound.

I have not yet used the carryon suitcase, however it looks like it will have a lot added to it! I will definitely use the phone charger, and I like all the other features, too! I THINK IT WILL HAve enough space for clothing for the weekend, but not sure yet. One thing, is that you should change the carryon depending on if it is a woman or a man who bought it! Women have different needs than men - (like they have toiletries that men don't use that may take up more room than men) Otherwise, this carryon seems good! I will let you know once I use it!

Love this bag! So easy to maneuver thru the airport. I love the design and functionality. Thank you Sky Valet for an amazing product.
James S.
Love this luggage. It has surpassed our expectations. Took it on our first trip last week, and the luggage performed behind what we anticipated. It was fun to watch the TSA agents looking at it and discussing it. One agent actually said "Something has damaged the wheels on your bag!" Great design and functionality. Thank you Sky Valet!

Absolutely the best carry on bag I’ve had in 40 years and millions of air miles. I manage superstar artists, and productions globally. I need a bag that is sturdy, takes a beating, looks rich, handles my 16” laptop in a way I CAN GRAB IT FAST and which has exceptional storage. The SkyValet 22” carry on meets all those tough conditions in one bag and goes further. The shark wheels are helpful on cobbles, cracks and bumps where I drop bags getting stuck before this. The charging port has both USB types near the handle. Exceptional. It also has a great inductive charge plate. So you really can charge 3 items at once. The lock feature from phone app is a real plus. I often have my bag in overhead. I always worry that people will fish in it when I sleep on long flights. A push from my seat on the app button and I can hear the lock confirmed beep and know that nobody can get in. Finally I have a superb bag with access I need and a handle that goes about 4” higher than most. This is HUGE for a tall guy like me. Shorter people can extend to any comfy height for them. This is one intelligent design and everything is right. Highly recommended. But where is the cup holder?

Great high tech luggage
I finally got the chance to take this model out on it's first trip. It was better than expected. It took the cobblestone streets of Germany like a pro, and the battery/charging port came in handy for the long layover I had enroute. Plenty of room to pack valuables and it was nice to lock the suitcase in my hotel room and not worry about it while I was out exploring.

Stellar customer service - great design
My customer service experience was amazing.
A bit of a story for y'all. I had just gotten to O'hare and was going to meet a friend. I'm on those escalators that are like 5 floors long and I hear a noise behind me. A bag comes crashing down the escalator catching my SkyValet and causing it to go tumbling down to the bottom. Note: the bag was dropped because a lady took her stroller on the escalator and her kid knocked the bag out of her hand while trying to balance everything - there's a reason for the "no strollers" signs. Anyway, it's Thursday at 4pm and my bag handle was opened so of course it's twisted all weird after falling 50 feet. The bag itself escaped relatively unscathed - just a few peels of the protective skin stuff. I'm freaking out because the handle can't be closed anymore so how am I going to get the bag home? I email customer service what happened and they emailed back within 5 minutes. He figured out what parts I needed and was able to get them to FedEx before the 5pm cutoff time for two day shipping. I've never had customer service work with me so fast before.
Now the great design:
1) The handle is behind a cloth. On a cheaper bag, that cloth would have to be ripped for the handle to be replaced but SkyValet has a zipper. So you just unzip it to access the handle.
2) The handle is held in with regular screws so you don't need anything fancy to replace it (after all of my anxiety about getting the replacement, I forgot to get a screwdriver and ended up using eyebrow pluckers to replace the handle on the morning of my return flight). The two screws under the handle are a bit tricky to get at because of the phone holder but that's nitpicking.
3) The shark wheels are the reason I bought this bag and they live up to claim. I live in downtown Boston and we have all of these cobblestone streets and I always notice a difference between my carryon SkyValet and my checked bag when I have to pull both.

Such a durable carry-on!
I’ve been thankful to have this bag for awhile now and it’s held up multiple plane and road trips. Fits perfectly in even the small carry-on bins and fits several days worth of clothes. I’m not concerned at all about the bag popping open because the strong zipper keeps the bag closed perfectly. You can over stuff it and there is plenty of room. The device charge area is awesome and even has a wireless charging spot. You can pop a thin laptop or iPad in the side for easy access. But one of the BEST features is the little cable carry-on bag I got with it. I use the bag even when I’m not using the suitcase. Well worth the price. Would definitely buy another one.

Far Exceeded Expectations
The carry on bag has become the go to bag for any trip. The wheels work better than expected and any kind of service is handled very quick. Note: Service request was for a lost key.. (User error).

Exceeded all my expectations
The case is solidly made and of excellent quality. The smart features such as the lock, wireless charging bay, USB connectivity ports etc make this case stand out from the crowd. Lightweight and tough, I expect this case to give me years of service. I had to contact support and their replies were always courteous, punctual and to the point which gives me confidence that this is a company that actually cares about its products and customer base.

Innovative Bag :)
I was fortunate to receive my carry-on prior to Covid but even then, I haven't used it much (not for long haul travel as the purchase was intended for). One reviewer mentioned the lack of internal volume space for belongings. The bag itself is great as is the technology, but I agree. I do wish it had more space (which I'm sure, the larger bags do). I'm totally tech impaired so it took a minute to figure things out but I'm getting the hang of it. My biggest praise is the stellar customer service when I have needed to contact them. Replies are prompt, friendly, and respectful. Excellent customer service is a priority for me.
Christopher Rogers
Excellent Quality but disappointed with internal volume
The quality and the craftsmanship are A+. The wheels are better than advertised on a variety of surfaces.
However the internal volume is limited more than I would have expected for a bag of this size by the collapsible handle. Also it is disappointing how much internal volume the fold down wireless charger takes up. I'd rather just hook up my phone/tablet to a smaller portable battery.

Best travel bag I’ve ever owned.
The person who designed this case has thought of everything you could possibly need in a travel case. I use to carry two bags but with my new case I can throw everything into one bag and don’t miss the struggles with a backpack and travel case. Looking forward to traveling again.

Nice, thoughtful features, even better customer service
Everything about this luggage reflects careful consideration for what practical features people need, which is why I backed it on Kickstarter. All the key features are thoughtful, meaningful, and pleasantly fluff-free: the smartphone charging features, the USB lock, work well, as advertised. The internal materials, fabric, etc. is pretty average quality given the high price, but you are paying for the features, and on that front SkyValet delivers. The carry-on version is perfectly sized if you don't want to check luggage, and the shark wheels are a surprisingly effective innovation helping roll the luggage across all kinds of uneven surfaces. I had some trouble with the USB lock (after unlocking via smartphone, there's a button the luggage you have to trigger before the lock opens), and sent a customer service request, which was promptly answered by the owner and designer. He helped me get replacement parts over text and, while I know this level of service isn't feasible as sales scale up and service requests multiply, it shows the good faith involved and has sold me forever on anything bearing the SkyValet name.

Best carry-on by far !
This is the best carry-on luggage I ever bought !
It's loaded with features and top notch build quality!
The company skyvalet is awesome too !
Customer service is best in class!
I will definitely buy from them again and tell everyone I know about them

It is nice and practical and does the jobI forgotten is doing
Got this one was on Kickstarter had Hat for a little bit you said a few times on it that’s no traveling I’ve been able to do and it said do I need a fire and happy with it over . Please give me a little tricky with sharing space with the front pocket and Andy inside and hear the space but still it’s good for us at least 5 to 7 days traveling sounds great for conventions and trips like that

I LOVE this case!!
I am finally packing my weekender for a trip and I kind of love this thing. I seriously hadn't even taken it out of the bag (which is a nice touch.) I, too, don't think you could pack this for 7 days unless you were travelling to the tropics with only bikinis on hand. But I love it anyway. I'm actually afraid that I might have to check it for part of this trip and I really really don't want to because I love it that much. Is it sturdy? I don't know. Is it big enough. Maybe not because it is opinionated. But I love it anyway. I love the catches that hold the zipper thingies. I love the pop out charging tray even though I will never want to use it because I am always USING my phone while it is being charged. But I love it anyway. I love all of the little compartments. Do they fit my stuff properly? Not really but I don't care. I love how easily the wheels truck across the floor. I will not even want to roll it because I won't want them to get dirty. It is stupid how much I love this case that may or may not be functional. I WILL make myself take it this week (even though I really want to leave it at home and take an ugly case that I won't care if it has to be checked.) I want to buy the smaller case too. Why? I don't really know. I just really have an illogical visceral reaction to this case. Which is amazing actually because I received this several months ago and it has sat around without me even bothering to look at it for months. But it is pretty and sleek and well thought out and has so many zippered places for different things and so many little pockets and such. I have backed a few pieces of luggage on kickstarter over the past several years and I gave all of the rest away. (Why do I even back luggage? I don't really know) But this one is mine. I love it.

Out of this world
I am more than happy with my carry-on Trolley. All the electric features work just fine and perfect. I didn't expect to have set it up so easy. The sharkwheels are a real win. I am sure looking out for a bigger suitcase by SkyValet soon. Keep going on with the good work, team!
Daniel Slocum
Solid little bag done right.
I’ve traveled on 5 trips (9 flights) since receiving it. Through the course of those trips I’ve learned that the bag is nearly perfect. It could use an additional handle to make pulling it out of the overhead easier and the computer compartment takes up space which could be used for clothes on slightly longer trips. It rolls over everything with ease and the charging features are a lifesaver. After using the bag a few times I had the pleasure of speaking with the SkyValet founder who was very receptive to my input and suggested that others had similar feedback. When the company is ready for a 2.0 product update you may see some minor improvements. But!! Don’t wait to buy. You will love this bag. I liked mine so much that I ordered the medium version completing my set for long trips. The pictures show my bag in an airport and next to a TravelPro carry-on in an Alaska Airlines Airbus A320.

Great concept executed perfectly!
I'm a huge fan of my Skyvalet luggage. Lots of unique features that simplify my travel experience. Wireless charging, remote unlocking and locating, quality of materials and the wheels are incredible. Big Fan!

Great customer service...
Had a problem from travel damage and the response with assistance was very prompt and a solution was provided that returned my case to like new in a very short time. I have enjoyed my case and with the great customer service I am back to 100 percent. Thanks!

Totally worth it.

The best cay-on ever
The carry-on is great. The front opening is the best ever. so simple and easy to access.. I haven't let lock downs effect me. I have traveled a lot already since I received it in January. and am enjoying this piece a lot.
David PR
Consumer grade pro - All-in-one - Nice finish
I'm very suprise right now about the quality et the easyness to pack and store my stuff in it. The quality of the pieces seems to be durable. Not much tiny pieces. Just need to open the gate to use it around the world

love my carry on
I have had my carry on for about 7 months now just before the lock down. It sat in the closet for a good three months since I'm not flying now. I could wait any more to test this thing out so I've done about a dozen road trips for business. At first I wasn't sure how much it could carry but now I have mastered packing 3 days worth of cloths using space storage bags a pillow and my laptop and a tablet. it all fits. I must admit I didn't think it was possible but it does. I'm ready for a larger suitcase for longer trips.
Gerardo
Very happy with mine
Hey, I finally received mine. It took like 7 months but I’m excited. https://www.instagram.com/p/CGbGXxvJWW4/?igshid=116ojguje9fa9
The cord pouch and the cloth storage bag are a nice touch
I think my storage bag will double as a laundry bag when I travel.
The usb battery looks quality 10000 mah.

Beautiful design but still needs tweaking
I received my SkyValet carry on just as the lockdown began after waiting a long time. I was an Indiegogo supporter. The front pocket is very convenient but it means not much storage inside. Or if you put too much inside you can not close the outside pocket door. It is a big trade off. Probably good for an overnight business trip or a couple of days. I do like the cord cases that come with it. They seem to have thought of everything.
What a bummer to put so much time and energy in to a product and then then Covid appears and traveling ceases.
I do thing company has a good future ahead when we get through this.

Incredible luggage
First time I have this high tech luggage I like it very much. Now I can put my valuables so safe . Thanks to sky valet.

Best Luggage Ever
I travel a great deal, including multiple trips to Europe each year. This luggage is quite simply the best that I've ever used. The wheels are amazingly helpful when visiting places with uneven surfaces, like the cobblestone streets or brick paving in older cities. I also love the easy access to the front section, and the incredibly useful power backup inside (a lifesaver!). The manufacturing is first-rate, and the material seems strong and durable. I've always treated luggage as an afterthought on the assumption that nothing I would buy would be all that different from all the others I have bought in the past. For the first time, I now have a suitcase that I actually want to show off!

So happy with SkyValet
This is obviously the best carry on bag there could be. Wish there was some more space but it forces you to organize it. Great product.

Detailed Review of the SkyValet Carry On
Hey all. I received my SkyValet Carry-On several weeks ago and have spent some time with it. Granted I haven't gone anywhere with it, however I did test it with my normal pack/unpack processes I used with my previous bag (the Trunkster 21" carry-on).
INTERIOR PACKING SPACE
The available space to pack items inside the carry-on is deceptively large. It doesn’t look like it at first glance, but the SkyValet can absolutely take on everything my prior bag could and still have room for a bit more. On top of that, the flip-down area for my laptop is very functional and fits my 16” MacBook Pro AND my iPad Pro 12.9” at the same time just fine. While I liked (and will miss) the roll-top aspect of my prior bag, I am clearly getting more space and more flexibility with this design, and most bags of this style are designed similarly (zipper around/near the center circumference of the bag and a hinge on one side).
SHARK WHEELS FTW!
Just dragging the SkyValet around my apartment building with the SharkWheels has been far easier and smoother than my other bag. Granted I am not covering 3,000 square feet like in an airport, I have enough hardwood, rug, carpet, asphalt, cement, and brick paver variations to get an idea of what it will be like on the road. Can’t wait to try this out at the airports!
BATTERY/POWERBANK
The battery that comes with the SkyValet is competent and functional for what it is. It’s a solid performer and does what most normal people will need. The fact that it is easily replaceable and accessible is just excellent design (and a current TSA requirement, for that matter). For what it’s worth, I had always planned to replace it with a higher-sized, higher-output battery. Right now, my choice is the HyperJuice 130W USB-C battery pack (https://www.hypershop.com/collections/battery-pack/products/hyperjuice-130w-usb-c-battery?variant=31304056930366) but I will be replacing that battery with the Flash 210W USB-C Powerbank (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/flash-world-s-most-powerful-210w-usb-c-powerbank/x/696395#/) once it ships. The reason: both of those batteries will not only charge my iPhone and/or my iPad or other devices, but they will also both fully charge my laptop (the aforementioned 16” MacBook Pro). Note: You cannot charge the laptop using the top ports of the SkyValet since the cable that connects the ports to the battery is a USB-A cable and is not rated for PowerDelivery at the wattage needed to charge the MacBook Pro. That means I have to run a charging cable from inside that compartment to the outside where my laptop is, or I have to put the laptop in the laptop compartment and leave the cable inside (which means I am not using it while it charges). I was able to run a charging cable outside the laptop compartment and close it, but I am concerned what that would do to the charging cable over time due to the pinching at the closure point. I may have to do a little modding to my Sky Valet (if I want to invalidate the warranty) to charge the laptop from the top charge ports. Note to SkyValet for version 2.0: either have two heads on the charging cable and use a higher grade of cable, or make that cable user detachable/replaceable as well.
DEVICE CHARGING
I was able to charge the following devices using both the USB-A and USB-C charge ports at the top of the SkyValet: iPhone, AirPods Pro, iPad, Apple Watch, BeatsWireless Pro. Both charge ports at the top of the case were tested and proven functional. I was also able to charge my iPhone and my AirPods Pro using the wireless charging area on the back of the SkyValet. That area would not charge my Apple Watch, however. Not a surprise since it was not designed to do so to begin with; just something to note.
BLUETOOTH LOCK
The bluetooth lock mechanism works exactly as I would expect it to, and appears to be reliable under normal circumstances. The SkyValet app works well and is pretty straightforward to use. I am sure some people (typically those who refuse to read directions or are unfamiliar with Bluetooth pairing) will have problems, but there are stickers, warnings, and documentation (cards and pamphlets) everywhere (inside the box, attached to the bag) which are essentially correct and should be easy enough for anyone to follow. If you’ve paired Bluetooth headset to your phone and remember how to do that, pairing your SkyValet shouldn’t be a whole lot different.
FINAL WORDS
From a whole-unit view, this absolutely is the travel bag I’ve been waiting for. I am already considering buying a second one in another color to allow me to wear-level the bags (take each on on alternating trips so they both last longer). Looks like the Shelter-in-Place recommendations have been extended through May, so I won’t be taking my SkyValet out for a spin for a while. But when the time comes, I will get a better sense of how it survives the real world. I am confident it will hold up just fine.
Chris Stockman
Not as much space as some competitors but feature-packed!
I was an early Kickstarter backer for the Carry-On version.
It has become my go-to bag for short trips. It has a ton of features that I find very useful (phone charger, bluetooth lock / unlock). It has a very nice finish and quality feel to it.
But the amount of total space for clothes and shoes is a bit lacking when compared to it's closest competitor (Away carry-on).
With all that said I find the pros outweigh the cons so I'm sticking with it!
Michael L
Good space, great features
As a regular business traveler I was looking for a carry-on that would support my technology addiction as well as provide the necessary space for a trip lasting a few days - I found that with my SkyValet carry-on. I just returned from a one week vacation where the SkyValet was the only bag I carried and while it was a tight fit - it worked! The phone charger worked like a champ and provided a great quick charge while waiting for my flight. I don't use the locking system normally but I confirmed it works with the phone app quite easily. The shark wheels were a hit with the family as they questioned how such 'unconventional wheels' could work - but work they did easily navigating in/around the airports and over bumps with ease. Overall it's a stylish case that looks good moving through the airport. This case will be doing a lot of international travel later this year.
Mike T
So far so good but design could use improvements
Solid build, wheels are very practical, the side pocket too. Wireless charger feels slightly cheap because of the plastic used, but it does the job.
I’ve yet to take in on road in a few weeks, I’ll update the review then.
One downside is that the side pocket and the internal packing compartment actually share space, there is no hard divider between them. So if you load the side pocket, you have little room for the clothes. Or if you put shoes inside, the side pocket gets tricky to use.
Eric Madar
Solid, but room for improvement
I write this review with a clear grain of salt since the global pandemic has shut down air travel, so I haven't been able to actually test anything in the context it's designed for. YMMV
The Skyvalet carry-on seems pretty well designed, and the features that it includes are generally well-placed and work. I like the build quality and rigidity of the case (It's similar to my larger luggage from TravelPro), and the Bluetooth lock/unlock (the killer feature IMO) seems to work just fine. The zipper quality and layout of the internal pockets are also about what I'd expect.
I have a few minor issues, however, that prevent me from giving this 5 stars:
1. The GPS tracker feature on the android app is broken
2. The wireless charging dock sticks and can be difficult to actually get open
3. There's no waterproof section inside the luggage. This means I'd need to have my own solution for carrying liquids in my luggage.
There's also one negative side effect of having all of the features that this carry-on has, and it's that there's less room in the luggage for your stuff. I don't think it's enough of an issue to be a dealbreaker, but it's definitely noticeable. It remains to be seen whether this causes a problem for me when I can fly again. In any case, I don't think this is a design flaw, it's just a reality of using the limited space in the dimensions allowed for a carry-on bag. This didn't affect my rating, but it felt important to call out.
Mike
Great Bag
Really good size and packed with useful features. Love it!

So smooth
The suitcase itself is awesome--perfect size, wheels are as smooth as promised, thoughtful layout--but what I'm really shocked by is how easy the app setup was. I just turned it on, followed the two (maybe three? It was so easy I forget) directions, and bam, there's my suitcase. Game changer for anyone who travels with items they can't afford to lose.
Chris
Nice design and features, not very practical
First of all, I do applaud the team for successfully designing a product and bringing it to market. Unfortunately all travel has halted, so I have not been able to use the new carry-on, which arrived shortly after all the lockdowns, over 15 months after my purchase. I thought the concept was really cool. And I do like having a battery to charge my phone while traveling. And the laptop pocket was pretty unique. The wheels are pretty cool, but I honestly can't tell if they work any better than standard wheels. It seems pretty durable. And I do like the app that unlocks it. I only had an old suitcase before TSA locks. So locking my bag has never even been an option. I didn't invest in the GPS tracking. But if you are a heavy international traveler, that would probably be well worth it.
I must say I have been very disappointed with the storage volume. Assuming they maximized the dimensions allowed for a carry-on bag, the inside storage is way too small to be practical. The built in laptop pocket was a cool design feature, but just takes up too much interior space. I usually travel for 4 nights, mostly business casual, and bring a toiletry bag and shoes and clothes for exercise. Winter is usually a bit bulkier. I tried putting in a pair of sneakers and it took up almost the entire laptop pocket side. The other half could fit maybe 3 light summer outfits. No room for anything else. Couldn't even fit a man's basic toiletry bag.
It is probably best as an overnight bag, two or three nights at best. I would gladly trade the laptop pocket for some practical packing space, and just use a backpack for my computer. I would give high marks for quality and features, but can't do any better than 3 starts for space. I honestly can't think of any trip I'll actually be able to use it. I should have bought the medium check-in bag. But without the phone charger, not sure the rest of the features stand out from anything else already on market.

An awesome carry-on ...
All I can say is WOW and so worth the wait! For those who invest in Kickstarter projects, like I have for many years, there are some that just stand out ... this IS definitely one of them and honestly, for me, the best one.
The build quality of the carry-on case, the tech involved and the ease of getting the app to pair and work effortlessly are all amazing highlights.
Obviously there were delays until the SkyValet team got all the brilliant features 100% right, but when they did, the result is amazing. My favourite feature is the wireless charging - so convenient. But really, everything they promised is there, so this is a fantastic replacement for my ‘name brand’ carry-on which has just nothing on this.
No-one could foresee COVID-19 so to get this across the line is a great effort. Well done!
I was lucky enough to get my carry-on in the early shipment so, to all the detractors ... don’t worry, it’s definitely worth the wait.

Love my carry-on
I received my carry-on in April and I just love it. it's lightweight. Using it as soon as as I am able to travel again.

Amazing product with useful tech features
My roller board came yesterday and I opened it right away.
Everything looked amazing... loved the box, the bag it came in, the brushed silver finish. The Zippers are great. The instruction books look great. Great job!
My wife and the guys in our shop were skeptical about this purchase, but they were really impressed when they saw the product in real life! They liked the finish, noticed the high quality zipper and agreed (after previous objections) that the tech features, like laptop pocket and charger were useful.
I tested the wireless charger… works! The app to lock and unlock works. Great job. I know a bit about what an epic struggle every design choice and production roadblock is on a project like this and the SkyValet team should feel great about getting this product out to customers!

Love This Bag!
I got my carry one, and love it. Wish I could have used it on the trip I was supposed to be on right now, but the pandemic has postponed that. Looking forward to getting my matching checked bag down the line. Hopefully, will be able to travel again by fall, and will enjoy them...a replacement for beloved, but old and worn out luggage.

Love the carry-on
I love that I have the chance to have everything I need at my fingertips when I travel. Knowing I have a way to charge my phone or other electronics while I travel is a huge reason I love this. The tracking option is another plus in my book!!

The perfect carry-on
The feature set in this piece of luggage is terrific, and luckily for all of us the implementation is equal.
Durable, attractive, functional, light weight.

Has all the things!
I got my carry-on a few days ago and it’s exactly what I expected with all the features as advertised and very easy to follow instructional stickers all over it.
I had some trouble registering for an account on the app since I have an older phone (an iPhone 5S, the screen resolution isn’t handled by their backend) . I emailed support and got an immediate reply that solved my problem by obtaining an account for me and emailing me the info.

First impressions = Satisfaction
Was Kickstarter backer #31, so was on the ride from the very beginning. After all the ups and downs and ebbs and flows, finally getting my carry-on was well worth the wait. The functionality of the bag is exceptional, and I'm sure when travel begins again and I get to put it through its paces it will meet or exceed my expectations.

4.5 Stars 1 issue
I was an early backer for this luggage case. It is like the inspector gadget of bags. It provides what you need on your travels to help ease your comfort with the charging capabilites and security functions. Setting up with the app was a breeze. I haven't tested the durability and functionality of the shark wheels as I havent been able to travel since it was delivered. Now to my drop of a half star. The bag comes with a battery pack to charge your devices...what it didnt provide was the charging cable to charge the battery. I was left to my own resources to purchase/find a mini usb cable to charge the battery pack...most my devices use c connectors. That was the only issue I had...I think for a luggage with a sophisticated name like Sky Valet we should not have to purchase anything extra to set up the bag fully. Great bag overall.

Fantastic luggage
The Sky Valet carry-on is the most advanced travel piece ever. Great quality, looks fantastic, has all the features for safe and secure travel. Right size for short trips, room for laptop, tablet, shoes, shaving kit, shirts, pants, accessories. Bluetooth locking a good feature, wheels roll so easily. Learned about it from Eric at CES 2019, signed up immediately via Kickstarter. So glad I did, well worth the wait to see this project up and running. Great customer support.

Meeting Our new Carryon
We were fortunate to receive one of the first SkyValet Carry-on and are very pleased with the appearance quality. Although we have been prevented from traveling, the obvious features such as Bluetooth Lock, the App and the Shark Wheels will make our travels more enjoyable. Of course, the Carry-on is smaller than regular luggage but it has many pockets and storage areas to fill.. It took longer to receive than originally projected but regular email progress communications from SkyValet helped to relieve the anxiety. When received, it was worth the wait.

What an amazing piece of equipment
So I purchased this a while back thorough Indigogo. Once production began and was working smoothly I received the first piece of my order , the carry on. It’s strong And appears durable And it looks sexy as all hell. Just be aware, this is a carry on made for a few day trip. You might struggle packing for a week in this thing. But a businessman or someone going on a few day trip would benefit greatly from this piece. The Bluetooth lock, the app, the magnetic front pocket, the USB ports and wireless charger are all top notch.
I look forward to being able to use this on a real trip instead of just in my house :-)
